SONNE IMMAGE is a youtube channel dedicated to the exploration of synthesized library music. The latter is neither a musical genre nor has specific sound. It can be defined as library music produced mainly between the late '70s and early 80s which took advantage of the great advances in electronic music and the technological progress in analogue synthesizers of that era. The resulting musical style is usually quite versatile incorporating elements from various other styles of that period such as ambient, progressive, disco, new wave and others.
